Nubian Dairy Goats

All our Dairy Goats and the Buck are FOR SALE!  Due to physical disabilities we are moving away from the farm and have to move to town.  When the goats are sold we will sell the milking machine and stanchion.

Patches, on the right, and Blossom, on the left are beautiful does that we purchased from Nubilop Acres the year before they closed. These two girls were the first of the new goats we purchased in 2011.

Tilly was purchased from a Kansas farm. She was a love. We lost her right after she kidded with two beautiful does out of Beaudacious (pictured below as a kid).

We got two lovely does out of this breeding. One was retained (below) and the other sold.

BUCKS

Phantom (a Nubilop Acres Buck) was used for a breeding to Patches and Blossom. Blossom got sick and lost her babies but we managed to save her. Patches kidded with two beautiful does. The one below was retained and the other sold. We no longer own Phantom.

Now we are pleased to have added GODDARD FARM JARED to our Buck line up.

He is one of the brown kids. We'll update his photo once he arrives! His mother is a huge milker and, as you can see, very productive......always kidding with 4 kids!

Top Notch Milk

Super high in butterfat and nutrient dense Nubian Goat Milk is a super food!

According to Hub Pages, "Many claim the higher fat content makes it bad for you though and it has given goats milk a bad name. It is true that the fat content is higher but our bodies have a much easier time breaking down the fat than that of the highly processed and modified commercially available cows milk. In fact I would venture to say that unpasteurized goats milk is some of the healthiest sources of nourishment available today. Its loaded with powerful probiotics and enzymes that help your digestive track in many ways similar to probiotic yogurt.

Also worth noting is that if you where to try cows milk and goats milk at the same time while blindfolded the tastes would not be too far off.. similar to 1% vs 2% milk because of the higher fat content in the goat milk. Most people don't like it right off the bat just because its "different" as if they were 8 years old trying out new vegetables or something. The difference truly is negligible... especially so with store bought milk because its so processed."

Our goats are primarily on pasture.  In the winter they are fed our grass hay and alfalfa plus some organic grains for the soon to be moms.  During milking season they are fed a small amount of organic grain at milking.  Milk is available April through November.

We sell milk, from the farm only, for $4.00 a half gallon, in approved containers (as pictured above).  CONTACT US for details.

  1. What are you asking for Blossom? We live outside of Weeping Water and raise Nubians. My kids show them in 4H.
